This October will mark the 25th anniversary of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Although great strides have been made in breast cancer awareness and treatment, the American Cancer Society estimates over 192,000 new cases of breast cancer in the United States in 2009. Breast cancer is the second leading cause of death in women, after lung cancer.
